2019年10月25日，美国消费品安全委员会（CPSC）的在《联邦公报》发布了16 CFR 1217（婴儿床安全标准）的直接最终规则。现在，16 CFR 1217将引用ASTM F1821-19e1《婴儿床标准消费者安全规范》。
16 CFR 1217的先前版本引用了ASTM F1821-16，没有进行任何修改。 与2016年版的F1821相比，ASTM F1821的2019e1版对幼儿床侧围栏的测试进行了修改。
标准已于2020年1月27日生效。
